Become a WITNESS Lab Fellow
Fellows run their own research through the lab. They join a cohort, meet regularly, and share what they find.
What fellows do
Each fellow pursues a research question connected to a more sustainable built environment. It could be a material test, a field study, a community project, or a digital tool.
Fellows work through the WITNESS loop: ask, make, measure, test, learn, share, and repeat. They meet with the cohort to talk through methods and evidence. They present and publish what they learn.
Who can apply
The fellowship is open to Wentworth Institute of Technology students in any program.
What we will ask
The application is short. You can prepare these now:
- Your name, program, and year
- The question you want to investigate, in a few sentences
- Why it matters for the built environment
- How you might test it or gather evidence
- A faculty member you would like to work with, if you have one
Apply
Applications open soon. The fellowship is new. Details such as time commitment are still being set, and we will share them with applicants. To ask about it now, talk to N. Jonathan Unaka or John Voccio.
